but, why do they want to make bunkers and tunnels? could it be because they want to shelter their children when bombs start falling, or that they need tunnels to bring in medical supplies, food and such?
It's always a problem you will get when you get militaries or paramilitaries sheltering among the civilian population or using civilians as human shields that this sort of thing will happen.

On the other hand I see little evidence of civilians saying "enough is enough, we're fed up with being your human shields" and driving the paramilitaries out. That is indicative of either widespread popular approval or intimidation.

Not more or less than it is the fault of Israeli kids who get blown up on the bus that some old guys in their government have certain ideas.

and, how would they re-build their houses when they are blown away by bombs and razed by bulldozers? Should they just use animal dung instead of cement?

my attempts as sarcasm should not be taken indicative of my amusement of your comment, i am quite appalled actually
The real way to get the stuff to Gaza is to have it dispatched via Trieste to an Egyptian seaport, be that Alexandria or Damietta or Port Sad or el-Arish. And from that seaport onward by truck into Gaza

... very naive

Any minute now you'll say something like "Won't someone think of the children". Btw, you assume (wrongly) that I support the embargo.

Did you join this forum just to start a new thread on the same subject that's been discussed, at length, since 29.12.2008? You should go there and hone your debating skills where I'm sure they'll be welcome.
This user would like to thank NotAllThere for this useful post:
