Political campaign posters on property
Yesterday while we were out working in our yard, someone from the SP party pulled into our driveway and hung one of their campaign posters on a light post in our yard.
Yes the light post belongs to the city/canton, but the light post is clearly in our yard on our property making it look like we hung the poster and are endorsing this person.
Do we have any rights to take it down? If we did after dark and didn't return the sign would it be seen as theft?
I've looked into the SP party and I'd be more apt to support them over the SVP if I was even able to vote, but as it seems more and more posters are going up it's interesting to know what kind of rights we have if the SVP comes to hang their posters.
