WHO got rid of 500 jobs

Just heard from a friend working for the World Health Organisation that by Dec. 2011 they will get rid of about 500 jobs. Their Geneva office will be severely affected. I believe the lay off have already started since August 2011.

The outlook for UNAIDS and The Global Fund is also not very positive.

The bad times continue to bite.
