two little brothers assaulted in Switzerland

I have been searching on the web but I cannot find anything about this terrible fact.
My mother told me today that there has been an aggression in Switzerland (she cannot remember exactly where) to two little brothers of Italian origins.
This happened some years ago (I think), but now the case is on the news in Italy, because the parents want to know what really happened.
It seems that Swiss authorities tried to hide some details, at the time.
This is is a terrible story: one of the children was found almost dead, naked on the snow, and now he has severe injuries.
I would like to understand better: anyone has heard about this fact and knows where I can find an article about it?
Thank you.

I think you are referring to the case of Luca Mongelli. When he was originally found police blamed his dog, but evidence later pointed to a third party (who I think was never found).

It is most disturbing indeed. But those of Tages Anzeiger clearly found that this justice scandal, highlighting the Walliser-justice "standards", deserves to be made public. It is not acceptable that a Colonel-Lieutenant of the army can fail as public prosecutor and is kept in office, can drop out with a "burn-out" and become a flying instructor. This matter is to be brought to whatever "forum" (media, etc) available. Let's not ignore the likeliness that we here are faced with an ugly occurrence of xenophobism.
