Are you implying that Blocher's EMS Chemie is not doing well in Africa or India?
A) Mr Blocher with his EMS-Chemie (in alliance with Mr Prager of Mövenpick) for decades arranged that young Indians and young Egyptians could get to Switzerland to work as "voluntariastes" overhere
B) Mr Blocher's EMS-Chemie owned /owns a number of subsidiaries and factories and outlets right east and north of the CH border in Austria and Germany
C) Mr Blocher's EMS-Chemie was the first company to use the new CH/EWG "EUR.1" certificates when the free-trade-agreement in 1981 became effective
D) Mr Blocher on a visit to Ankara made friends with Turkish politicians, Turkish officers (he is Colonel) and with Turkish Muslim clerics
E) the son-in-law of Mr Blocher is the son of an industrial tycoon in Lombardia, a truly interesting link actually

All this means that people in India and in Africa simply presume that Mr Blocher is of the kind they know so well from "back home"

You are correct, my bad

Well it is not really Blocher's EMS Chemie any more? It is Blocher's daughter's EMS Chemie.
So when somebody has to travel to these countries & represent the company it is not the Grand Ayatollah who fronts up any more.
No longer the Grand Ayatollah himself in person but now "Begum Ayatollah"
