The morning are much more important. How you wake up affects your whole day.
And then it will remain dark in the middle of winter till 8am. So much for the saving of energy. And who wants to always go to work in the dark. As i say they are playing with fire these stupid burocrats. People will get depressed. More wars more suicides....the list goes on!

It's easy.. just press all the buttons and accidentally cook a roast dinner.

Hopefully they'll set for the "summer" time.
I like coming back from work when it is not yet completely dark outside so I can take my child for a while outside.
Getting to work and coming back at night having spent a whole day in artificial light is very depressing.

Agree. Most of us are up very early in the morning when it is dark anyway irrespective of the time change.
It is the light evenings that will benefit us more.. safer journey home for car drivers in winter too, I reckon.

Alot of people eat at 1800 and with this daylight saving at this time its only 1700 and still blazing hot in the middle of Summer. So its pretty crazy to eat at this time. And alot of people dont want to eat at 1900. In the elderly peoples homes they are forced to eat at 1700!!! in Summer. ( and Winter )

This was all mooted long ago, before the European Community became the European Union. They even had a song about it.

"Summertime, and the living is EC".

Well there is always:

Spring is sprung, the grass is riz,
I wonder where the boidies is?

And everywhere are signs of spring.
The little boid is on the wing.

"gee ma'am but that absoid!
I thought the wing was on the boid!"

Mine isn't. The Serbians or somebody like that stole 10 minutes.

As if shooting Archduke Ferdinand wasn't bad enough.

I bet the fat cat politicians get to keep it all.

But it''s only in our best interest mind you. Sunlight only causes skin cancer.

Re: Bye bye daylight saving

Daylight Saving drives me crazy. It's such a funky thing to do to everyone. (yes, I know why started).

If you have/work with little kids it's worse because you're screwing with their bed times.

hahaha, but daylight saving doesn't actually save daylight, it just makes my mornings dark and depressing and my body clock angry.
