LOL, coming from you that's rather funny.

Full score, captain Obvious. At least part of the reason you applaud her is because she did so without getting hurt. While this may be news to you that's commonly termed hindsight.
As usual, your logic is bizarre and makes little sense. Why would I not be happy that she is unhurt? That's what happened, that was the end result. If she had been hurt then obviously people would have been sad, that is just basic common sense. However even if in the worst case she had been hurt I still wouldn't have blamed her for reacting how she did for the reasons I gave above.

Who made any statement claiming you aren't?

Your first post starts off with dismissing what would have been reasonble and is recommended as completely irrelevant, and continues with using the favorable and quite lucky outcome as reason to applaud her. Obviously the outcome isn't known until after the fact hence you're basing your position at least partially on hindsight.

Usually however you take a position of "Common sense would have told you to do ABC otherwise expect unwanted outcome XYZ. There's nobody to blame but you for outcome XYZ". See for instance the quote from "Car acquired 2 weeks ago" below.

Applied to the next granny's reaction who fights back, just this one being less fortunate and waking up in the hospital instead (assuming she wakes up at all, that is), your reaction is likely to be something like "Why couldn't she hand over her purse and be happy she esacaped unscathed, she should have known better from the outset", using hindsight yet again and basing your position on what's typically recommended. The very same recommendations you've immediately brushed off in the case at hand.

Next time involve your wife in major purchasing decisions? Or at least do your research better.
Ditto on this, I can't believe someone would buy a car (at least a sole family car) without input from their wife.
