FotoPro shops closed

In German sadly but it says, basically, that the FotoPro group is unable to pay its bills anymore and has decided to close all 8 locations in Switzerland.

That's where I got 99% of all my second-hand Minolta and Nikon lenses 10-15 years ago. Such a sad day.

Re: FotoPro shops closed

They ought to get Peter Jones involved.

Jessops, a photographic retailer in the U.K. ceased trading in 2013 with the closure of 187 shops.

He bought the company and now there are over fifty shops. He re-invented the shop and although they still sell new and second-hand camera gear, they also sell drones and have a speedy print service.

last time I was in there (in September) they were actually selling drones, gopros, etc. they had a good printing service, passport photo service, stuff like that. looks like it was not enough.
