Will Switzerland soon be filled with fences?

Long story short.

In 2014 A woman walking her dog on a path in/near Pinnistal got killed by cows, and despite the farmer having put up warning signs the judge ruled that he also should have put up fences, also the farmer has to pay 490.000 Euro (likely 500.000 CHF or such)

The farmer has announced he will appeal the case and fight til the highest court possible.

This verdict will mean that if it does not get overthrown by a higher court, that farmers either have to bear the financial risk of what their cows might do despite having put up signals or have to put up fences around them, meaning that a nice open walk in the mountains might turn into a walk in between fences.

Link to Dutch article have not yet found a Swiss article:

Yeah, I was wondering if I should have added that "The Telegraaf" is the biggest Dutch shithole newspaper ever to exist.

However the farmer also has to pay 1.550,- Euro monthly, so perhaps they refer to the expected total.

Amazing, find almost as many different amounts as I find news articles about this...

Also took me your link to realise the woman is Swiss and she was attacked in Austria.

Well no more fences here at least.

Re: Will Switzerland soon be filled with fences?

Pinnistal is Tirol, Tirol is Austria.
Why would a court case in Austria put fences up in Switzerland?
Even if they make it an EU law (wanna bet they will?) it's none of Switzerland's concern.

If Trump gets his wall, will we have to build one on the border to Italy? You know these Southerners are all the same

What postings? Still nothing to do with Switzerland.

Or do you mean:
<<Mocht hij falen, dan zou dit waarschijnlijk een precedent scheppen. „Dit zou grote gevolgen hebben, vooral voor de veehouders in de Alpen. De vrije weide zou dan niet meer bestaan”, aldus de advocaat.>> from what you call "the biggest Dutch shithole newspaper ever to exist"?
The Dutch might not realize the Alpes are not one country?

Where does Tom's link say the woman was Swiss? In fact it clearly states: << claimed the life of a German tourist>>

Is this a "if you can't convince them, confuse them" thread?
Subject is fine - title is nonsense.

Wasn't it the Dutch who gave the Alps to Switzerland in the first place?

Wouldn't be hard to do, most od the border with Italy is water or mountains, and there is still a lot of fencing left from the pre-Schengen days.

Also, pretty much everyone in Ticino would be in favor, it's just the scum in Bern who would be opposed.
