This is the problem right here, it’s impossible to have a discussion without someone resorting insults and accusations. It’s the default position of progressive liberals when presented with debate. It’s far more hideous than any perceived homophobia.

There hasn't been any debate. A thinks this, B thinks that. As far as I can tell you don't ever debate. You throw around opinions as though they are fact, don't actualky engage with the salient points (possibly because you don't have a rebuttal other than "but i don't agree") and then accuse others of insulting behaviour because you don't like what us being said.

It's a forum largely connected to CH. Lots of the users are not Swiss. Lots do not live in CH and are therefore not bound by its (sometimes, IMO, worryingly out of of touch) laws. But again, you've attempted to move the goal posts. No-one was talking about Swiss legalities. It was, AFAIK, entirely generalised.

That's not true and quite an accusation. I tend to leave posts unless they're directed at a specific person or really beyond the pale. Free speech and all that. In addition, I much prefer to know the people I'm talking with are homophobes, racists or whatever instead of living in denial that such people exist.

No, but I resent being called a homophobe when we are resident in a country where homophobia is criminalised and same sex adoptions banned. My stance is not homophobic, as I said originally, I prioritise the rights of children over same sex parents.
