| | Re: Equal rights for women | Quote: | | | | | Yes, it's very true.
My wife goes regularly, I only go if an emergency, and never get above half of my CHF 2500 deductable except twice in 35 years.
I preferred it when health insurance was not obligatory.
Tom | | | | | Hmmm, my advice: don't go only if an emergency.
The discussion about discipline started from here and I feel obligated to continue my line of thought.
Yes, I think it's true that many men neglect their health and not only that, they are reluctant to follow up check-ups, treatments etc. Or they do, but as soon as they feel OK again they forget. Not all, of course.
I think women are more disciplined than men in this regard, they have to. If you're not up on your feet who's gonna take care of the family. So maybe that's why we become a bit hypochondriac.

I think it's not the first time he posted stuff like that, but hey ho, I don't judge. | | | | | Apparently their first event was a couple of months after I arrived in CH. Switzerland is surprisingly advanced in such things, then everybody has to pretend to be boring I always have said how much fun Swiss girls are in private, not ideal marriage material perhaps?

Does anyone else find 'Frauenparkplätze' offensive?
I once took a ride on a female-only Mexico City metro after several failed attempts at boarding normal packed-like-sardines metro cars with a large backpack (the metro cops ushered us into the female car)
It was lovely. Loads of space. Smelled like potpourri.
Totally unfair.

We need more reserved parking spots in general. Age-based, hair color, height.
Short elderly ginger transexuals get front row.

The honest truth is that no, we objectively don’t need women’s parking spots as parking lots in Switzerland are, just like the rest of the country, really safe. If women are scared to walk through a car park alone at night is that due to some emotional feelings, not actual dangers.

Also FYI, men are the majority of victims of physical violence in public like murder or serious bodily harm.
Also good to know that you think that men in general in some way "deserve" to get less protection because a small minority of men commit crimes.

In my younger years, I have been put in uncomfortable situations by strange men whose behaviour was questionable. There were moments when I was relieved to be in my locked car. I'm sure there many other female posters who have also their own stories.
