The guy had previous paramedic experience, and got his heart going before the cops and ambulance showed up, but it is unknown how long his heart was stopped.
Reports say he had damage to all organs and brain, so I guess it was stopped for quite a while.
He was an avid runner, and was planning to do the New York marathon.
He was well liked across all parties.
He was only 62.

He was a really laid back guy, always smiling and greeting folks. Will be missed. RIP

Local carnevale band is doing their stuff.
It's going to be a noisy week.

Avoid Lugano on Tuesday, it's going to be the biggest funeral in Swiss history!
(It's being held at the soccer stadium)

Is it just me, or has there been a lot of press coverage on his death, and on saying how popular he was, but in contrast to other politicians who make it to the news in this way, his party (Lega) is generally not mentioned up front?
Because Lega politicians are not supposed to be popular?

I'm a bit late to this as I've been laid up with fever for a few days after having the ((J&J) vaccine!
He was a really great person and i knew him and his brother personally. My wife is good friends with the family He was one of the few politicians who was actually liked and respected and he did some good things for Lugano.
