Campaign against correcive surgery

I have not heard of such a campaign publicized in other countries. It would not surprise me if the Swiss at the forefront on bringing this to the attention of the general public.

After watching a couple of documentaries, it is something that I feel strongly about; as it can have devastating consequences for its victims.

I also think that it touches on a deeper issue, that children or teenagers should not have to decide on their sexuality until they are adult.
My experience is that many teenagers have conflictual feelings, the feelings are necessary to the maturing process. Others may feel insecure befriending someone whose sexual orientation is unclear. So a decision, albeit the wrong one, may be forced upon them.
