Swiss Federal Council – Official Photograph 2009?

How do you like this year's official photo of the Swiss Federal Council?

It's even available in 3D …

Martin

P.S.: The woman in red is not a federal councilor but federal chancellor Casanova, i.e. the chief of staff.

I love constants in life. Somethings never change. There are those confident smiles again. Not a care in the world? And the lovely Doris, looking as radiant as usual.

I like the way there is a male-female balance in the Federal Council. I think they need a token African or ex-Yugoslavian.

What the picture definitely can't hide: The government of the banana republic Helvetistan is moving to the right. Think about...

Re: Swiss Federal Council – Official Photograph 2009?

The gender equality at the top of the Swiss political system seems strange, given the problems working mothers face (for example, school schedules). Reading Women in the workforce -- Female power in The Economist I came across:
Quote:
Many professional women reject motherhood entirely: in Switzerland 40% of them are childless.
I am moderately curious (but not enough to do the work ) as to how many of the federal councilors have children.

Widmer has three children, Calmy two, Leuthard is childless.

Aesthetically speaking, I'd say it brought The Suck.
