| | Windscreen Wipers
In the last 12 months I have bought 3 cars from BMW dealers.
Of those cars, only 1 has had windscreen wipers that didn't need replacing!! The Alpina Roadster went back in after a week, and the 530 is having a pair sent to me in the post.
I said to the salesman, I can take out an entire gearbox - windscreen wipers won't be a problem.
The CD-changer also jammed on it's first use!!

You phoned up a BMW dealer...
You : "Hello, I'd like a windscreen wiper for my 530 please..."
Dealer : "That's a fair swap..." | The following 7 users would like to thank Upthehatters2008 for this useful post: | |

Mind you at £75 a through they aren't exactly expensive - cheaper than a tyre - singular!!!
ElggDK - BMW sucks? Not really - wipers are in the post - and the car itself is superb.

I am not into Bmw so i don't know much of them, but when you mean with " replace windscreen wipers", are we talking the lot? blade and rubber?
Our previous car was an Opel, the garage we had it serviced had the rubbers on a roll ( from Bosch so no crap)
He just cut them to size and replaced them on the blades, where other garage will replace the full blade and rubbers , costing you way more then just the rubber.
Would that be an option? or does Bmw not accomodate swapping just the rubbers on its own?
