Please someone enlighten me on the swiss system [German speeding fine enquiry]

hello every one this is my first post and I'm very new to this.

I'm a swiss guy with a swiss driving license. I live in geneva i was driving my mum's car to see a friend in zurich that just had a kid. but i got caught speeding by a speed camera! this was a about a month ago today i received a letter from the police saying that there was a man driving the car and she needs to go in the police station my her house to say who it was... now being that there was no pink slip and no information to how bad the fine is going to be... does any one know how bad this is really going to be? i work hard so i will pay the fine but i can NOT lose my license or I'm a dead man!!
please some on enlighten me, on what comes next.

How can anyone answer this if you don't tell us how fast you were going, and what was the speed limit at the time...?

If you were not too over the speed limit you would just got a letter with a pink slip. But since you didnt then it must be a bit more serious than that.
How much over the limit were you going?

No I'm sorry but executions are not an alternative penalty to a revoked driver's license.

One thing is for certain

You can kiss your license goodbye and pay a pretty big fine

Re: please some on enlighten me on the swiss system.

It will probably be a 3 month loss of license and CHF 1'000 fine plus costs.

If you drive a lot I can help you out by driving your car for CHF 100 per day plus expenses.

So if you don't like the amount of the fine what is your mom going to do? Say someone stole her car? Man up, my friend, & go to the police station yourself instead of sending your mom. You have to face the consequences of your actions.

Let us know how it goes.

verbal abuse and mocking. usually centered around your lack of respect for others by speeding often enough, or so fast, or both, that you are now in danger of losing your license.

Re: Please someone enlighten me on the swiss system [German speeding fine enquiry]

man up, you committed the crime and got caught.

if you say you were doing 150 then was the limit there 120? This is with rounding, I assume?

You'll get a short ban and a fine related to your income.

I assume Mummy is none too pleased with you?

On the bright side, the train will get you from Geneva to Zurich in the same time with fewer chances of fines (well, only the 80 francs when you don't buy a ticket).

HTH
