Does anyone have experience with buying a car for their own Swiss company? I wonder what documents are required and whether the car should be registered in the canton of incorporation or the canton where I live. I suppose I should just call the Strassenverkehrsamt, but maybe someone here has been through this. Thanks in advance.

Same doxs as you need privately, insurance will be more expensive than privately as it will be considered used for profesional use. I am reasonably sure you would need to have plates issued from same canton as where your company is domiciled.

There is some implication on your private tax, check with your accountant
