Is ther a bus to the strassenverkehrsamt in Aargau?

I need to visit the strassenverkehrsamt in Aargau (Schafisheim) on monday without a car.

Does anyone know if it's possible to do so by bus from Aarau/ Lenzburg or any other rail station?

Tried searching the sbb website but couldn't find anything.

Thanks in advance.

Re: Is ther a bus to the strassenverkehrsamt in Aargau?

I just googled it and this is what I came up with (travelling from Lenzburg)
Yes it looks like a bus goes near but not right to it you will need to walk circa 10 minutes (5-8 minutes for fit normal people) to get there.

Click on the link above for the directions - feel free to put your place of departure in the A box.

Just enter your from (Schafisheim) and to (Lenzburg) locations on the SBB site. Of course you need to be a bit more specific than just Schafisheim and Lenzburg as both have more than one bus stop. To help in your search on the SBB site just add a comma after the names of each village, the search return will show you a drop down list of potential destinations.

I have found it is highly inaccessible by public transport. I think they figure if you need to go there, you have a vehicle. Here is the link with the map on their website. They say they have plenty of parking. The exact address appears just at the top of the map.

The SBB website gives walking directions from two nearby bus stops but I do not think you can walk on these roads. From what I recall, there are no sidewalks (there usually aren't on the highway!) This warning is also given if you look up walking directions in Google maps.

Have you checked whether you really need to attend in person? Many things can be done by mail. Even if you are buying a car for which you need to register in person, you can get dealer plates. Other option is mobility car hire. Or go to the nearest bus stops (Coop Schafisheim or Jumbo) and call a taxi.

Thanks everyone, I did manage the short walk. There's a footpath all the way except opposite the strassenvehrsamt where you need to cross the road without a zebra crossing, which was not a problem.

Which stop did you go to? Coop or Jumbo.

Before Regionalbus Lenzburg changed the buses around a few years ago there actually was a stop serving the STVA.
