Then why didn't you write sleep?! I thought you misspelled "doo-doo" you know...then end product of food after we're done with it.

I didn't think of the doo-doo in english! I should know better with hours of Friends and Chandler's duty.

Re: Neuchatel to Basel Airport - my flight is too early!

On a similar note, we have to be at Basel Airport for a 6:10am flight!! (I think this is a new time for the wednesday easyjet to Edinburgh!!!)

I don't think the first bus at 4:55 will give us enough time?? Does anyone know how much a taxi from the train station to the airport costs? And will there be taxi's outside the station at that time of the morning or should we book? I'm guessing this new time slot is costing easyjet less but taking a taxi will add a lot to a 'cheap' flight!!

Re: Neuchatel to Basel Airport - my flight is too early!

Check in online and print your boarding card. If you don't have bags to check in, even better, but you'll still make it even if you do.

Bus at 4:55 should arrive at the airport at 5:15 which is 55 minutes before the flight. Unless EJ have a policy about dropping off bags one hour before, the only deadlines I'm aware of is that you need to be at the gate 20 mins before depature which you'll make easily.

Re: Neuchatel to Basel Airport - my flight is too early!

Given the early hour of the departure, it's probaby worth familiarizing yourself with where to catch the bus to the airport. It can be confusing, and you wouldn't want to risk missing your flight.

I'd suggest night-vision goggles, but this can sometimes make a complex problem even more complicated. With night-vision goggles, all of the busses appear as green, even the orange ones. It's an almost unsolvable conundrum.

Re: Neuchatel to Basel Airport - my flight is too early!

You totally have enough of time to make it to the airport for a 6:10 AM flight. We did for a 6:30 AM flight a month ago and if you take the EuroAirport Bus just outside of the SBB at 4:55 AM(read the complete process and direction of how to find, board, and stay on board the Bus 50 at the link posted by 'Village Idiot') you should be there in 13 mins.

Usually all airlines have a 'Gate Open 1 hour before depart time' unless EJ is special.

Thanks,

S

EJ usually has the "Gate closes 1 hr before departure"...

@ suzybg - Eitherway, the buses are usually timed to allow you to get to the first flight - just don't miss it...

And if you do miss it then a taxi is about 40-45 CHF from SBB.

EEk!!! Thats steep!! We won't miss the bus!!!

We actually take the bus every other week so we do know where to find it although my eyes are more open in the afternoon than they will be at 4:55am!!! Maybe for once I'll sleep on the plane.
