Car Leasing Prices and Qualifications

Ok, so I have decided not to ship my wires car because it is too old. I currently lease a Honda so I would like to lease in Switzerland. My question is about monthly prices and qualifications. Honda.ch has promotions for 154ch a month lease on a Honda Jazz. Are leases done like in the states where that price is for the highest qualified, therefore like 1 in 100 people can qualify and 154 ends up being 400? Right now I pay $320 USD a month for my Insight plus $75 a month for insurance. As a brand new resident, can I lease a car for around those prices adjusted for Swiss cost of living? I just don't know how the qualification process works.

Hi, AFAIK, these offers are open to everyone, but for that price, you might need to put down a larger deposit and take it over a longer period of years. I leased a Jazz last year and I think I put down a deposit of ~5000CHF to keep the monthly payments down and I pay 226CHF per month. that was for a 5 year lease.

I'm sure they have a lease calculator on their website......

Hope that info helps.

Cheers

Sean

There's a leasing calculator from GE Moneybank (in English as well!):

https://www.gemoneybank.ch/calculato...alculator.html

Just play around abit with the figures to get a feeling for it!
