Re: Coop Pronto - Gas/Petrol CHF 0.05 coupon

What can we say. Now they are back to CHF 0.05 until the end of MAY.

As usual, FR and DE coupons 3x page.

Happy motoring.

Re: Coop Pronto - Gas/Petrol CHF 0.05 coupon

I saw today why those little buggers increased the coupon to CHF 0.05. They increased the price of gas by CHF 0.03.

Yes I noticed that, I also saw it for 1.79 at another station so these offers are getting close to been ineffective.

Still thanks for posting them up Verbier

Re: Coop Pronto - Gas/Petrol CHF 0.05 coupon

Garage near me has a permanent 0.05 notice board for last few months so no need for coupons and price is 1.73 before the coupon is applied.

Re: Coop Pronto - Gas/Petrol CHF 0.05 coupon

6 pages devoted to how to save 3 CHF per full tank of gas. The effort alone to bother with these things is more expensive then the savings. Opinion only of course.

Still in business.

CHF 0.05/litre good until the end of June.

As usual, FR and DE and 3 coupons per page (printing in B&W ok).

When one sees on what for c**p money is otherwise wasted, the time spent driving two kilometres in an attempt to save two Frs would be better spent making (for instance) one's own iced tea. Opinion only of course.

That's your opinion. It takes me about 60 seconds to print out two pages of coupons each month and stick them in the glovebox. If it saves me three francs every week when I fill up, that's CHF156 over the course of the year.

Find four or five more opportunities to save something "trivial" like this, and suddenly you're saving a thousand francs a year.

You know the old saying: "watch the rappen, and the francs take care of themselves."

Quite. There's enough Prontos around that they don't demand a detour, and we do probably 40000km a year in two cars averaging about 8l/100km between them, so that gives us a saving of 160 francs a year, though I reckon it takes me more than 60 seconds to C&P the voucher into a better format for printing and then cut them out;-) Maybe three or four minutes.

I'm currently working on an experiment of using the barcode from a previous, non-date-restricted, voucher, just to save me the small hassle that it is each month or two to print the new versions.

I totally agree, but if the Pronto gas stations are along the routes you're driving anyway it makes perfect sense to use the coupons.

Plus, 60 seconds to save 12 Francs translates into a tax-free hourly rate of CHF 720. If you make otherwise more than that, I'll shut up!

Sadly not. I think I screwed up when I scanned the bon, which I've subsequently used (it was when these print-your-own ones were only for 3 rappen) . Next time I get one I'll try again.

YES. I was having trouble motivating myself to do the sheets when I saw the coupon value, so many thanks.

In my area they increased the price CHF 0.03 and we are now at CHF 1.83 for 95 (we must be one of the highest areas in the country).

We're at 1.66 for 95 and due to a misunderstanding with the pumps one day last week the guy gave me a stack of 5 cts per litre vouchers.
The coop pronto is actually my nearest service station so I don't have to go out of my way to get there either. I'm happy I don't live where you are. 1.83

Oooh, missed this. Can you have a quick look to see if they all have the same barcode? And if they do please, pretty-please scan one in and upload it somewhere - I'll C&P it onto the normal monthly printable ones to up them to the full 5rp.

Re: Coop Pronto - Gas/Petrol CHF 0.05 coupon

Oh the excitement. Coop has graciously upped the coupon to a whole FOUR centimes per litre. They are so kind

Anyhow, here are the new coupons for 4 centimes per litre. Good until the end of OCTOBER.

As usual, in DE and FR and three coupons per page

Sorry I've only just seen this. They were all the same bar code but only valid until 31st July in any case so would no longer have been valid by the time you posted.
