I can't help unfortuantly in finding a place. Maybe a race track in Germany might be an option haven't heard of people doing it here. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Drifting_(motorsport)

thank you. | | | | | Go to America, and buy a rearwheel drive car with lots of horsepower. My Z28 was lots of fun.
Or, go into the mountains when there's snow on the roads, with a lesser powered car, and turn off the traction control. The rental car I had in Sweden some years ago was great with the TC off.
Or, get on a high powered motorcycle, and turn off the traction control if it has it, and ride some dirt. Just make sure you're dressed for the occasion.

Besides, why would there be an off button?
(oops, not 100% true, I can understand enough to read the manual to find out where the OFF button is! )

Simply google "Driftkurs". There are regularly courses on snow on an airfield in Ambri (TI)...
but I guess it is too late for this winter now.
Otherwise you will find plenty on various European racetracks, but more of the ralley style than the "Nissan with chrome rims" thing you find in the US...

Reminds me of the time I mentioned that my rental car did not work too well on the dirt roads and it was suggested that I probably was not allowed to use it there. (although some places could not be reached otherwise, so still not sure whether it was ok or not - never actually read all the small print)

Here's one place. http://fr.racingbox.ch/
There doesn't seem to be too many schools in Switzerland. But there are plenty in the UK. It's a great experience especially with a real wheel drive Ford Cortina from the 1970s.
