Re: Birmingham to Basel

The cheap option will involve a bit of travelling for you:
Manchester to Zurich with easyjet. Then a train direct from the airport
LHR to Basel with BA or Swiss
LGW to Basel with easyjet.

Re: Birmingham to Basel

Welcome to the Forum Nice to c someone from the midlands here in switzerland. I Fly frequantly from geneva to brum with easyjet And they r cheap if u book ib Advance. Then get the Train from geneva AirPort to Basel its about 35 pounds for your Train Ticket probably cheaper. The Train Station is in the AirPort Underground really easy.

Re: Birmingham to Basel

although i like to save the punds and pennys, i would prefer a direct flight if having to travel to and from the UK regularly. its easier and worth paying the extra £30 pounds.
if i get a flight + train tickets it amounts to the same price as getting a direct flight. plus i dont like the hasle....thats just me

Direct flight are so much nicer and worth it if only a small diference in cost! Plus an airline that includes luggage save pennies as well! Welcome to Basel!
