Audi body repair

Another Car Question :
My two year old Audi has 3 tiny scrapes from three separate "incidents" and the dealer will charge 6000 chf to repair them!
If I were to make an insurance claim the deductible would be 3K AND my rates would go up.
6k seems extraordinary for these tiny little dents.
Does anyone recommend an independent body shop in or near Zurich that can do this work for less...a lot less?
Or maybe there is a good place in Germany for such things?
Thanks!

Re: Audi body repair

Probably best left alone, unless the metal surface under is exposed.
It is not economically sensible to repair , even if you intend to sell the car, you would never recoup the investment.

Probably cheaper to sell the car as is, knock a grand off for the damage during negotiation and buy a similar model with the proceeds.

Try:

They are notably accredited by RR, Bentley, McLaren...

Excellent work, at a reasonable price

Re: Audi body repair

Charlotte if you end up repairing it at a much better price than the 6K quoted, let us all know. Seems astromonical

Re: Audi body repair

You might try one of the companies that advertises for spot fixes. I used to use ChipsAway in the UK and they did great work for around ~CHF100 per mark.

They've got a listing in Switzerland, but their website is a little out-of-date so I'm not sure whether they're still in business or not. (If you use them and happen to find out, please can you report back?)

That's the only service I've seen in Switzerland. If you're prepared to drive across the border to Germany, it looks like ATU offer a similar service:

http://www.atu.de/pages/werkstatt/smart-repair.html

To give you an idea of what they can do, here are photos of the repair to my car in the UK:

Before - managed to hit a bollard in the car park. D'oh!

The repair in progress -- they work out of a mobile workshop, so performed the repair at my apartment:

Finished product was as good as new:

Total cost of this repair (including touching in a few stone chips at the same time) was GBP 140. Superb value for money, imho.
