In these "Permit areas" the residents pay about CHF 250 per year to park in the street. Here you must
read the notices and pay at the nearby machine, or maybe just display the Swiss blue parking disk. If the parking space has a number, you use this to identify your space at the parking ticket paying machine. You can usually buy a permit for annual parking at the
city police station (Not the Cantonal Police).

These are privately owned, you will be towed away if you park there!
On the long yellow boxes with a diagonal cross, you can wait while you load or unload. But these are not parking spaces.
