Help!! Jump start needed in Altstetten

I'm wondering if there is anyone local to Altstetten 8048 (or in the Zurich area) who has a car, some jump leads or a booster, and an hour of their time to lend me, perhaps at the weekend?

I haven't driven mine in about 4 weeks and, on Saturday, the doors opened using the remote central locking but it wouldn't start. (BMW's have this minimum cut-off voltage thing that won't even attempt to turn the starter motor without enough juice - it sits and clicks at you, as if to mock.) Today, the door locks didn't even activate and I had to open it with the key.

Ironically, I was opening it to put in a new solar trickle charger.

I also have a slow puncture and have bought an inflater that runs off the cigarette lighter. I just need to get it started, to inflate the tyre, and to take it to the local wheel place (for the second time) for them to look at the valve.

In return, I can offer computer assistance, a shoulder to cry on, a beer (or three), wine, or even Oxo cubes. I'll also be making a trip home to the UK soon and more than likely returning with my Transit instead of the Beemer. I can bring any expat comforts you might require.

And when I get back, I'll be available as transport to get EF members' stuff home from IKEA and such. I did a similar thing in Frankfurt and met loads of interesting people, and got out and about, exploring the locality and surrounding areas. I don't charge - you just pay for the diesel.

Finally, can I just say.. pleeeeease help? Thanks for your time.

I get a bit lost in translation since english is not my mother language, but if i got you right your car ran out of battery?
I have heard that for electric cars you need to charge them with the cables conected to another battery (just the battery) because if you conect to another battery installed to other car it might damage the electric system of your car. Im no mechanic but you need to check this info before risking damage your electric system. In mexico I ran out of battery, i had a grand cherokee and my mechanic came to the house with a spare battery and the cables.
Hope someone helps you, sorry i cant, but thought the info might help.
