Hope someone can help

I live in Thalwil and I’m thinking of taking a job in Erlenbach (directly across the lake from us).

I have worked out that I can hop on a boat to cross the lake that takes about 10mins (hell yes!!). The ZSG website tells me that the short round-trip boats operate between May and September each year.
My question for those of you that might do the journey regularly is, whether or not there is also an option for crossing the lake from Thalwil to Erlenbach throughout the winter months?

Would very much like to not have to get the train down one side of the lake and back up the other side twice a day!

There is still a boat during the winter, but not at every time of day.

e.g. Thalwil-Erlenbach at 6:40, 7:40, NOT at 8:40 or 9:40, again at 10:40...
