You're a gadget freak, with a poor sense of direction, who gets lost a lot.

lol I can't get lost gets a bit confusing when they contradict each other though.

Think I'll have to sell a few

Hi All,

I have a 2007 VW Touran with an inbuilt GPS. More and more often it seems my system does not recognise the roads. I am a poor map reader and I seem to get lost lots on new roads not recognised by the GPS :-)
Does anyone know if new discs from 2011 include the new roads around Zurich? I am not sure whether to buy a 2011 disc or wait until 2012.

Does anyone have any experience of this?

Thanks for any helpful suggestions.
Maybe you have made the same mistake as me.

On a recent EF visit to Besanšon I took along my new TomTom, no problems on the Saturday. For the evening I took the TomTom out of the car and for the walk to the restaurant, set the device to walking mode. TomTom took me up one way streets, exactly to the restaurant. No complaints there.

The next morning I put TomTom back in the car and noticed some very strange advice: it took me through a supermarket car park, against the traffic on a busy dual carriageway; it told me it would take 3 hours for a 10 mile journey, etc etc. Then the penny dropped, and I reset it from walking mode to driving mode!

.
