Motorcycle clothing

I have just spent the last half hour having a snack and watching the two wheel fraternity passing the house, (we seem to live on a favourite picturesque road). Can someone tell me where I can buy the skin that scooter riders wear, where it doesn't hurt if one meets the ground at any speed. Having ridden motorcycles for nearly 50 years it still makes me shudder when I see riders in shorts and t shirts and not all young kids either. I can assure you from experience and wearing the right gear it hurts when you hit the deck and gravel rash from sliding along isn't fun. How can we get across to these riders to wear protective gear if you don't want to be scarred for life and possibly a lot worse.

Always wearing protective clothes when I'm commuting on my scooter. 2 years commuting in London was enough to convince me. Zurich is tranquil in comparison but hitting the deck at 50mph hurts equally as much.

Good luck with your A license. Got mine a year ago and it's a fantastic sense of achievement.
