| Hello all
We moved here this week from London and I have a little one in a pushchair. Coupled with this I have a dodgy back.
I have found step free access to the Intercity trains but have so far relied on the extreme kindness of strangers to get us on and off the s21 and s24 trains.
Am I missing a disabled access carriage ? I have looked repeatedly to no avail and also searched the SBB website.
Please can you let me know if I am missing something obvious?
Thanks in advance | |

Unlike in London where the thumbrule is that the newer the line the deeper down it is, the thumbrule in Zurich is the higher the number the lower the priority. An exception is the S16 which is linking the Goldcoast (NOT Ghana) with the airport and excels in punctuality ! The first generation of S-Bahn trains was rather unfriendly to anybody disabled or with heavy luggage and unfortunately will be in use for decades to come.
In regard to the trams, the Cobra-trams are good for disabled and now gradually taking over.
