Re: Great driving routes

Just so that it has been said (thinking of another thread from today): If you want to go fast (i.e. exceed the speed limit, or weather conditions) please don't. Not only is it a risk to yourself and others, it also gets very expensive very fast.

If you want to go fast, book some track time (France isn't far, nor is it all that expensive). On a track everyone is going in the same direction, and are there to go fast AND you really can put the boot in. Once you've done some track time at the limit, going fast on a public road becomes uninteresting.

Thanks for the advice. As I stated in my first post here, I am not intending to do any crasy driving. But for sure it can happen that one occasionally exceedes the 80 limit. I had the pleassure to drive my old alfa 75 on the Zandvoort track in Holland - Great fun.
