Year or Monthly Rail

I have the option of commuting 10k to work by Train or taking my scooter. My company offers a 5% discount on a yearly rail pass, but I think I'll only use this in the winter months, therefore getting it for the year is pointless.
So my Questions
Can you get a zonal rail/ bus / tram pass for Zurich?
Is a monthly or weekly pass possible for all or limited areas?

Re: Year or Monthly Rail

there is no weekly pass from the zvv, there are only yearly, monthly or multiple rides (6 rides on one ticket)
