Gutten tag,

I'm gonna stay in Zurich for a year, begining from September. I'm wondering to know how these transportation systems work for me: bus, rent a bike and tram.
1. I had a look at the ZVV website on tickets, but there are some questions: it seems monthly is appropriate for me(at least for the frist month!) but I'm not sure if there is a limitation on how many times you use it. Please possibly let me know which kind of ticket is good for me.

2. I have no idea about the renting bike system?! is it free? where can we ride? everywhere? how long is the rent?
