| How about MA (Massachusetts)? | |

You'll want to talk to someone at the Department of Motor Vehicles in Massachusetts to confirm, but I found these two pages on their website instructive:
This one suggests Swiss drivers can drive for a year on their Swiss licenses, as they get the same reciprocity as Germany:

This one suggests, though, that you'll need to take written AND road tests if you are becoming a Massachusetts resident:

It also suggests you may need a "sponsor," someone with a Massachusetts license who is over 21 years old to go to the DMV with you. That sounds like a very Massachusetts thing to require -- it is an incredibly bureaucratic paperwork / rules heavy state.
If it makes you feel any better, when I moved from the US state of Virginia to the US state of New Jersey, they made me take their state written examination again. So this isn't something unique to Massachusetts or to your being from another country.
