Advice Please: Bring My Vintage Vespa to Geneva?

I'm trying to decide whether to bring my 79 Vespa P200E to Geneva. I drive it daily in the U.S., and it's had almost everything updated - soup to nuts - over the past 6 months, so it's in really solid condition.

Does anyone know whether it will qualify as an antique in Switzerland, thus no need to find someone to futz with the carb/emissions?

How would I go about registering it? I assume I'll need an A license?

Based on the prices for new vehicles that I'm seeing, it's worth a 900CHF investment to bring it over. Any sources for vintage Vespas if I do sell it in the US before leaving?

Thanks - I've only got a few days to complete the decision!

There are easier inspection rules for veteran machines, and as similar years are asking CHF 5,000 it looks to be worth bringing it over. Declare it with your furniture as a personal import. www.ricardo.ch is a Swiss E-Bay website,

The Vespas seem to be grouped with the Piaggo:

As it's over 30 years old, you can get it an old timer plate, which is easier. Then once you have that, you get it re-registered on a normal plate.
