Re: complex car import question

As all the duties are paid, you just need to go to Blecherette and make a request for a new car papers, than have a technical test and if you pass, you will have number plates with Swiss documents for a car!

We have it the other way around, we have the plates, and they send us an invitation for the technical test.....

Getting nervous now with all these stories as this is also a car not available on the local market...

You don't have to be nervous, just make sure the car is clean inside and outside and be there 15 minutes earlier. The worst case, you will have to come there again, but at least you will know what exactly needs to be fixed!
