I recently exchanged my valid US driving license with a motorcycle endorsement for the Swiss License. I was assured that I would get both the passenger car and motorcycle endorsement on my Swiss license, however the new Swiss license only shows a "B" and an F in italics.

Before I make yet another trip to the Strassenverkehrsamt, could someone please confirm that the motorcycle endorsement is an "A". Additionally, does anyone know what the italicized F stands for?

Thanks for the link. I certainly don't have a digger license so maybe they just made a typo. Although the F is italicized, so maybe its to indicate it's 'Fremde' as in foreign. e.g. I received my initial endorsements in a foreign land.

Yes, you need A for a motorbike.
I presume you've also got D1, BE and D1E

Thanks that explains the F. I just have the B listed, but looking at the link, I don't really need to be pulling a trailer or driving a minibus anyway

If you have an old UK license you could drive upto 7.5 tonnes, when I converted I just lost that group, however my brother was told to have a medical & got the 7.5 tonne group.
