New wheels for a bicycle (Basel area)

Anyone know where we can by new wheels for an ordinary "commuting" type bicycle, where it won't cost almost as much as new bike? Either in Basel, or across the border - Lörrach, Weil, St Louis...

2nd hand? try here: http://www.zweifach.ch/ - near SBB so convenient for you - they (disabled folks) recondition old bikes and you can pick spares for yourself.

Over in Lorrach there's these people: http://service.synapplix.de/cgi-bin/bieg

Any decent size Migro Brico has a good bike repair section, with everything you need. Ditto for most Jumbos as well.

Re: New wheels for a bicycle (Basel area)

I hope its not too late but you can get very cheap wheels if you go to any moderatly big bike store and ask for occasion velo parts and you will get good quality at a very good price.
