International driving permit question

Hi there
This message is on behalf of my brother in law from South Africa
He holds a Swiss passport, and is a resident of SouthAfrica, he has a drivers liscence from SouthAfrica.
When he comes over to Switzerland 2 times per year does he need a international drivers, or can he continue using his SA liscence here
Thanks kindly

Re: International driving permit question

normally yes. he can go to his cityhall and ask for a list where his liscense is valid.

ALso the international one you simply pay and you get it. always good just in case

Your brother in law needs to go to the AA (Automobile Associatioon for those of you thinking otherwise ) and get an international drivers license. Easy peasy.
