Driving test while pregnant

Hi all,

I have been trying to drive for a while on and off, failed the test once, one year ago. Then I discovered I was pregnant and decided to do another test after the baby is born.

After a while I started to wonder how much easier it would be if I could drive when the baby is here. So, I had an intensive training (expensive too) and the exam is scheduled for next week. I will be 8 months. Does anybody know someone who did the test during late pregnancy? Any advice?

Re: Driving test while pregnant

Don't stress out about this, just prepare adequately by studying your material from your class and practicing.

Driving is driving; the same routine no matter whether you are pregnant or not! Make sure your seat is comfortably positioned where your belly is not too close to the wheel, and also be sure that you can comfortably reach the floor pedals. The only other advice I can offer is don't miss your breakfast that day because you are anxious; low blood sugar and lightheadedness could definitely affect your performance on the test.

Good luck on the test and best wishes as you soon welcome your baby!

Re: Driving test while pregnant

My wife took her test successfully while 6 months pregnant, and had the feeling that she got sympathy points
Doesn't mean you wouldn't need to drive carefully!
