Want to share my impressions.

Test was not very easy but it was not so hard as I many times read here.

I did not have any driving lessons here in Zurich except one. After which I decided it is just wasting my time and money. I don't like people who cheat me in any cases. Driving instructor told me that I need a special car with pedals on both sides for control test but this is not true.
So after this lesson I decide just rent a car in mobility and make several trips in Zurich. For my control driving test I also use a car from mobility. No problems.

Test itself was in Zurich. No highways. Examinator told me turn left, turn right. All roads where I was driving was new for me, I never drive this part of Zurich.

All test was about 30 minutes. Then we come back and did some paper work.

Conclusion.
What I want to say. If you can drive - don't worry. You will pass a test. Road - just road, car - just a car. Nobody's perfect but all what you need - follow the rules, be attentive and confident.

My instructor organised it all for me within a week of asking (in fact booking the test was a 2 minute internet session) so there is not really a long wait time..at least in Fribourg. I paid all my fees in one go when I took the theory test.

For my driving test I did have to go on the motorway. I also had to do a "long reverse" on wrong side of road and parrallel parking. I'm surprised that you had to do none of these things as (in Fribourg at least) they are standard practices.

I'm also surprised you were allowed use a Mobility car (by Mobility that is) seeing as you don't (well didn't ) have a full licence but I never looked into that.

mr. a was talking about the control driving test, a test to convert an existing non-swiss drivers licence to a swiss drivers licence. and mobility does let you drive around with a non-swiss drivers licence.

Probably mis-informed, rather than actively cheating. Even officials who are supposed to be experts in their subject are alarmingly often wrong about the rules. (Probably because the rules they know about were the ones put in place ten years ago, but have changed now!)

I came in august then they send me appointment papers to 2nd of November (I think because my 1st year expired 23 of November)
Everything I did by myself, it is very easy. I payed no fees (and this is very strange for me)

All my spending is one lesson with instructor 90CHF, renting mobility car for driving test - 60 CHF and paying for eye test - 20 CHF

But if I did not verify this information I needed to pay him 90CHF per hour. At least 180 for driving test. And he has automatic transmission on his car! It was very funny for me. Car for learning to drive has automatic transmission!

Congrats on passing the test. My driving instructor offers refresher courses for those who haven't driven for a while / are from somewhere else and he said that is often more a case of reminding them what the rules are in Switzerland compared to somewhere else. There are quite few posts on this forum that strongly suggest the rules are more of an issue than the driving.

There are differences in the pass/fail rates between cantons, and what is true in Zurich is not necessarily true in Vaud. My husband took the control test in Lausanne and was asked either to have a driving school car available or test the handbrake in the parking lot. He then had to do a reverse parallel park, a highway section, a town section- the normal driving test. It is not unheard of in Lausanne for people to fail the control test.
