About the Track-7 Card

Hello everyone

I would like to ask a question about the Track-7 or Gleis-7 card. This card allows young people (under 25) to travel using SBB train from 7 PM - 5 AM.

My question is, can I use this service if I depart before 5 AM (ex: 4.30 AM) but I will arrive after 5 AM (ex: 10.00 AM) ?

Thank you for the answers

Re: About the Track-7 Card

Referrencing following link: http://www.gleis7.ch/abos/g7faq/
"Wird die Fahrt mit einem Zug angetreten, der laut Fahrplan vor 05.00 Uhr abfährt, so gilt der vorgewiesene Fahrausweis zur direkten und ununterbrochenen Fortsetzung der Fahrt im betreffenden Zug oder im betreffenden durchlaufenden Wagen. Allfällige Nachtzuschläge sind im Gleis 7 nicht inbegriffen."

Free translation:
"If the journey started with a train that according to the timetable departs before 05.00 clock, the presented ticket is valid for the direct and uninterrupted continuation of journey in the respective train or in the respective pass through wagon. Any night surcharges are not included in Track 7."

Hope this helps :-)

Re: About the Track-7 Card

Does anyone know which public tram systems you can use the card on? I use the Lausanne metro (mobilis). I have searched on both the SBB and mobilis website, both neglect to give any information on it's applicability.

Many thanks!

See the following pdf download for Track-7 service coverage: http://www.gleis7.ch/_upload/content.../g7v7b7web.pdf
