Bicycle Tax

How long after you buy a bicycle in Switzerland do you have to get it insured and where is this done?

but the Velo viginette doesn't have to paid for from May 2012 or something.

maybe they should introduce these schemes for buggies given them amount of accidents they cause including ramming into the shins of poor innocent tram users
