Federal Court declares Track Training a "RISK"

The federal court’s verdict from January 27, 2012, concerns a female biker who crashed in March 2009 on a French track. The verdict has far reaching consequences as it allows SUVA to cut compensation by 50 %.

Re: Federal Court declares Track Training a "RISK"

someone i know that does motorcross has been told by suva that the accident cover is reduced to 50% if he is injured at the track.

if its not a really serious injury then you "fell down the steps at home"

but i know a few major employers that have a "top up" insurance scheme that would cut in if suva reduce the payout.

They'll do anything to not have to pay out. Wonder if it's the same for car drivers and their track day experiences.
