Car Insurance

Moving to the Vevey area and will be purchasing a used vehicle probably May 1 - Looking for the BEST car insurance - for both my wife and I. No doubt there could be many answers just looking for - Cost - Customer Service - English Speaking. Appreciate any assistance.

For insurance check comparis.ch
For cars check autoscout24.ch

Insurance here is quite expensive, as are cars, compared to the UK.

Being a foreigner I decided to go with a big company and cover my arse properly.
A lot of the comparis quotes can be optimistic.

You could try ZurichConnect which should give you an online quote

There's plenty of info on this site if you search for it.

You should also take out legal protection insurance and you'll need Personal Liability and probably contents insurance for your apartment.
All in all it kind of makes sense to get it all from one Insurer, such as Zurich or Winterthur.
Make sure you don't take a 5 year policy.
