License plate holder - where to get them.

I have two cars which will share one set of licence plates for the future. Consequently I need to swap the plates from one car to the other every now and then, and for that I need two sets of license plate holders.....some good ones which facilitates easy plate swapping.

I have bought a pair from Obi where the plate is fitted by pushing it down at first and then sliding it upwards but it is not really......um....hm.....girlfriend compatible

Any recommendations (in regards to the plate holder....not the girlfriend) ?

Re: License plate holder - where to get them.

On a more serious note, you need to go to Jumbo. In the automotive section, they sell the metal plate holder systems for 2 cars / 1 plate. You will need to screw the clip part onto both cars. The plate will sit in a metal holder with a type of clip system in the back. The plate does not move from the metal holder once installed. You just clip / un clip to move the plate from one car to the other.

As a suggestion, you want to have a piece of cardboard with the word PLATES on it. You leave it on the seat or on the windshield of the car that does not have the plates so you do not drive off without plates (this can get expensive as the police can be less than sympathetic).
