How much to replace windshield?

Got into an accident this morning and my windshield and rear view mirror are trashed. Car is a Nissan Murano Executive.

Took it to the dealership and they will fix, but they guy didn't speak a word of English and I just wasn't able to put my German words together to ask how much it's going to cost.

Any ideas?

I know we have glass coverage. I called them just after I got back and they only asked what the damage was, when I said broken windshield she said take it get it fixed and send us the bill.

Am just curious as to the cost, hubby and I think around CHF 2000 but honestly have no idea.

We just got back from holiday yesterday and the bill was CHF 2950 and change..... A wee bit more than we thought. Seems to be fully covered as our insurance paid it and considered the case to be "closed".

Wow, looks like I got off lightly. Thank goodness for insurance coverage.

I bet it's heated.

Anyway - it's very simple.....if you have a lease car or full cover (needed for a lease car) then glass is covered with no deductible.

I've done 2 heated screens in the past 4 years. Headlight including bulb. All no hassle....
