Re: Man with Van

Another rave review of Gregory's services, we arranged an Ikea pick up same day (though I am sure he would appreciate more notice than I usually offer), has a large van, speaks perfect English and is a great chap. 80 CHF per hour but he had no problem rounding that down after we used him for nearly 3 hours.

I'll certainly be using his services again, you can't get a better recommendation than that.

Re: Man with Van

Hi All,

I am looking for assistance to help me dismantle my furniture, then get it out of my apartment, have use of a van with insurance, to move me to my new place, and then put the furniture together again!

I tried to contact Nathan at Priority Home Services, with no luck - I know he is just back from holidays but now I am stressing about my moving out date!

Can anyone recommend someone else for the Zurich region, I will be moving from Kloten to Bruttiselen... (Like a 6 kilometer move...)... And I need hands on help, not just a box moving service!

Let me know!

Thanks in advance....

Re: Man with Van

Dear Friends,

Few days ago I asked for recommendation for handover cleaning and moving the
apartment. Some of you helped me with some recommendations. Deciding on people
was not that easy.

But finally I moved into my new apartment and also handed over my old apartment.
I used services from following people and I must say both were really very good
and reasonable. I take pleasure in recommending them.

1) For Cleaning services
Salvatore Alderuccio (he is from Portugal but speaks very good German and
required English for his job)
Telephone : ask for via PM
Email

2) For moving
Prince ( He is from Nigeria and speaks German as well as English)
Telephone : ask for via PM
Email :
He came with a person named Anthony and both moved 2 room apartment on their
own. They also helped me with throwing abfall.

I hope this mail helps some of you as you could have an extra name to choose from. I had a good experience hope u will have it too.

Kind regards,
Shripad Chhatre

Another rave review for Gregory. He helped me move stuff from Zurich to Luzern, carried furniture up and down stairs for 5 hours in total. Fantastic guy. Would definitely recommend him to everyone.

Re: Man with Van

I have used John on numerous occasions already (in my short time here) and I truly thank him for everything he has done.

I HIGHLY RECOMMEND his services to everybody out there. He is polite, prompt, professional, very friendly and most importantly he is available at short notices (incl. Sundays) and he is very reasonably priced.

John is a very nice person and he has helped my family and I turn a simple apartment into a true home.

Thank you John and may GOD Bless.

Re: Man with Van

Hi,
I got the help from Gregory today to ship some heavy furniture in zurich. I would say he was very very helpful and a nice person. He didn't charge more even though there was a big mess in address due to me. He was polite and just took the van to other destination smiling without even a single grin on his face.Peferct.

I was initially bit hesistant to call someone unkown but thanks to all those who had given a good review about Gregory and went ahead.

I shall surely call him again for and already one of my friend who helped me along is planning for calling him next weekend for few stuff he needs to move. I really recommend him.

His website..http://www.uni-umzuege.ch/

Thanks EF ..

Cheers,
Mankav

Re: Man with Van

Another recommendation for Gregory. My husband and I are on a tight budget and explained our move requirements to Gregory - purchased some used Ikea furniture from some people 2 towns over and need to move it to our house. Gregory asked what the items were and told us that they would take some time to dismantle and suggested that we have him arrive 30 minutes later than originally requested to give us enough time to take apart the furniture and get it ready to move (saving us money). His English is great and he is very easy to talk to.

Hi John,

I found your link and a couple of positive feedback here, so I'm wondering if you're available this weekend (Saturday or Sunday) to move the IKEA furniture from Maenndorf to Waedenswil (Zuericher Kanton)?
Please, let me know and mail me your cell number to call you.
Thank you very much.
Natallia
