Zurich HB SZU

What's Zurich HB SZU, and does it really take 7 minutes to walk from there to Zurich HB?

It's the platforms under the shopping centre in Zurich HB, from which you can get the train to Uetliberg and Sihlwald.

If you know where you're going, you can probably do it from the main platforms in five minutes.

There's a map of the station here, it's platforms 1 & 2:

It's about 5min sprint. Nobody got knocked over, though!

SZU is the red train and they take AG.
It is about 7min walk up, though with a 3 year old, give it ten.
