Zurich a Man and a Van

Hi
I was wondering if anyone knows if you can hire a Man and a van in Zurich like you can in London.
I need to move in December from one part of Zurich to another. I only have about 3 sq m of stuff to move about 10 boxes. If I was in London I‘d just get a man and a van and do it myself.
Does anyone know if you can do this in Zurich and if so does anyone have a recommendation?

Thanks
Muppet

Re: Zurich a Man and a Van

Hi,
I recently moved apartments in Zurich and used Herr Kenny ' a man with a van' known in Switzerland as a Bruna -Waren taxi (079 223 80 10).

I found him helpful so give him a call and ask for a quote.

Try http://www.kamoeko.ch . They have been used by several friends of mine, so far no complaints.

Re: Zurich a Man and a Van

My reviews of men and their vens.

1. Selman - 0786441927 (Zurich) - didn't answer his phone so no review.

2.
Man with a van, CHF 60 an hour, all in. No idea of his name: 079 401 4058 (Zurich city and area) - Wangled him down to 100CHF an hour for him and his mate to do all the carrying.

3.Herr Kenny ' a man with a van' known in Switzerland as a Bruna -Waren taxi (079 223 80 10) - Costs 180 an hour and doesn't provide a buddy to help carry.

This user would like to thank hugh_abu for this useful post:

Also, check out Mobility for very cheap van hire.

Agreed - compare their prices to Europcar - but you need to book at good while ahead as the vans are very popular. I didn't, missed the boat, and now 3 days with a van from Europcar is costing a shade under 1K (admittedly it is a bigger van with a tail-lift but it's still 2 times UK prices).

Re: Zurich a Man and a Van

Ok review time:

His name is MILAN:

Wangled him down to 100CHF an hour for him and his mate to do all the carrying.

Great stuff... secured everything really professionally in the van, took a great deal of care with my furniture. 100% on time and reliable.

Will use him again without hesitation!!

The van is BIG and has plenty of space, I'd say about this size.

Re: Zurich a Man and a Van

Does anyone know if 'Milan' (the man with a van) is still available? Also has anybody else used him on here .... I can only see one review.

Thanks
J
